Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani, A golden name, A golden person in the History of Bangladesh. Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was born in 12th, December 1880, in Dhanghora Village in Sirajgonj district, Bangladesh. His father's name is Haji Sorafot Ali Khan. He was lost his father and mother in childhood. He was powerless. After lost his father and mother, He gets shelter in his uncle's house. He studies in local Madrasha of his childhood. After some days Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani leave his uncle's house. He live vagabond life.
Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani gets a lot of knowledge about The Holy Quran, and Religious education. After that, he gets teach from Deowbondh Madrasha Of Joint Provenance. He began teaching in a Madrasha of Pachbibi. He was manage the land of Jomidar S. Chowdhury. He was going to Kolkata and impressed about Independence.
In this time Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was involved in Khilafat Movement. He was elected a member of Kongress. He participates in Raolat Low resistance movement and arrested. After coming from jail, he make a conference with farmers against Landowner. Then, he was popular as Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani.
Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was actually the farmer's leader. He was also a son of poor farmer also. His political movement was for the poor neglected people. He join a number of conference in Assam, Tangail, Sirajgonj, Gaibandha and other's place to make farmers aware about their right. All of Landowner rejected him from their area. After some days, Bhashani join in Assam Muslim League. Due to the respective merits, he was the President of Muslim League in Assam State then. Due to his tireless work Muslim League was grow in Assam.
In the election in year of 1945 to 1946, he plays an important role. He plays a vital role for the people of West Bengal. Then, after creation of Pakistan in 1947 there was create problem for the Sylhet Division, Bangladesh. Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani solve the problem by his intelligence. Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was involved in Muslim Leagues politics from 1930. The peoples of East Bengals impressed by Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani and Vote up Muslim League in 1946 elections. Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was also an important person for gets Independent Bangladesh from Pakistan.
